Background

Early 2000: Seven Christian people with long experience and skills across the spectrum of the arts came together over a very short time. A founding meeting was held with everyone full of great anticipation for the future of a new and creative project.

For Ian Whitehill, the Director of RSVP: To Life!, a number of factors all converged; evidence that God's plan lay clearly behind it all.

August 2000: The RSVP Pilot Day was held with forty artists of all kinds and a number of observers. Its success launched seven years of varied creative programs and events, across mainly schools and churches.

RSVP has always tended to be a fairly low profile enterprise, with invitations coming in to occupy teams ranging from two to 15 people. We have always had the stamp of being innovative and contemporary in all we do.
